You quickly come to realize within minutes of being with them that their love is one you usually only come by in movies. The glance Cam gives Brooke when she’s not looking, the way he picks her up and swings her around, in his sweeping motion of taking her off her feet to kiss her.

When Amanda contacted me, she had seen a photo of Cave Point online and although from Texas she was coming all the way to Door County, Wisconsin to work for a few months and had her heart set on having her & Ansel’s Engagement Session on the bluffs along the lakeshore over the sparkling emerald Lake Michigan waters.

What started out as a ride to a party with a friend on St. Patrick’s Day 6 years ago ended up being the night Alex & Tom met thru their mutual friend Emilie. After not seeing each other for two months and later reconnecting at a friends house they clicked right away.

Their story started innocently enough. Erin & Casey’s sister who was a co-worker were at a mutual friends Wedding when she mentioned that Erin had to meet her brother. She rolled her eyes and laughed, but said sure anyway. The next day he texted her and they went out for drinks 3 days later. Ever since Erin say’s “He’s my best friend and partner in crime.”

It was such a pleasure getting to know this couple. Two of the sweetest people I’ve ever met. Clearly made for each other, these two kind hearts made each other smile constantly. We actually did this engagement session the evening before their Wedding. Such a fun way to spend the big night before, relaxing and loving on each other before the big day. Eric and Kate were obviously not nervous at all, we just walked around Soulard snapping photos before heading over to their Rehearsal at The 9th Street Abbey.
