I had the honor of hanging out with the Aukeman family for the second time this year. Aja wanted to gift her Mother a family session for her birthday. I think that’s such a sweet and thoughtful gift. The Wagnitz Extended Family Session at Pittsfield Park had a beautiful sky, and the fall colors were vibrant in the background creating a wonderful set of autumn photos for their family.

Aja opted for Pittsfield Park for a few reasons, it’s one location I suggested because we love that there are several options for locations to photograph. Some of these can help us stay covered if there’s too much sun. There’s a pathway with white gravel, if it’s too overcast, that helps us bounce light back onto your faces. It’s nice and secluded and typically not busy during the off-season from soccer.

I had the opportunity of photographing Aja & Cameron’s Family for his Mother’s retirement and celebration of her home remodel in Bailey’s Harbor this summer.
