As a photographer, I always feel privileged to document the precious memories of families. It’s a moment of joy when you see the love and bond between family members. A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of photographing the Spinler family’s photo session at Whispering Pines Tree Farm. It was a heartwarming experience to spend time with their family. The family was excited and enthusiastic about finding their Christmas Tree. A tradition that Mom, Brooke, has been doing with her family since birth. I could feel their love and connection from the beginning of their photo session.
The picturesque location of the tree farm added to the beauty of the photographs. The lush green trees and the serene atmosphere. Along with the spirit of Christmas looming in the air made the session even more special. In this post, I’m excited to share the Spinler’s tree farm experience and my favorite photos from the session.
Mission: Selecting the perfect Christmas Tree
As we headed towards the Christmas tree section of the farm on the wagon. We started getting some beautiful family photos right away. The Spinler family was keen on finding their perfect Christmas tree. Watching them search for their ideal tree was an absolute delight. The kids were discussing the trees’ height, width, and overall shape, and each had a different opinion. After just a few short minutes, they found the one they all agreed on, which was beautiful. The children were happy and excited, and the parents were proud of their little ones.
After the boys helped Dad cut down the tree, we headed towards a warm blanket to enjoy hot cocoa and cookies with their cousins. The Spinler family enjoyed their warm cocoa and delicious cookies while hanging out with their family, waiting for the others.
Once everyone had found their trees, we headed to a fun spot with a much larger pine tree towering over the others. It had created a tunnel the kids could run through. They thought that it was fun to chase each other around the tree. Then we took a quick family photo, then one of the whole group together, and headed back on the wagon to the bundling area.
A little boy in awe over the magic of a Christmas tree
As soon as we arrived at the bundling area, the littlest boy’s eyes lit up with excitement as he saw the tree farm staff getting ready to bundle his tree. He stood there, mesmerized by the process, and watched in wonder as the team carefully shook and bundled his tree. Every move they made seemed deliberate and precise. He couldn’t help but be in awe of their skill and expertise. There’s something genuinely magical about how a Christmas tree can add to the festive feeling of the holiday season.
As the Spinler family’s time at the tree farm came to an end, it was clear that their photo session at Whispering Pines Tree Farm was more than just about finding the perfect Christmas tree or photos. It was about spending time with loved ones, creating memories, and embracing the holiday spirit. As a photographer, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience or a more wonderful family to work with. It was an honor to document their special moments, and I hope these photos will serve as a cherished reminder of this magical day for years to come.
