We spent Cole’s 2nd Birthday at the beach this year in Two Rivers. Point Beach has become a favorite spot of ours very quickly since our move to Wisconsin. Cole absolutely loves playing in the sand, making castles, building moats, and creating artwork with driftwood & lake rocks. This was Cole’s first time swimming in Lake Michigan, and up until this point he hated water. You can witness his apprehensiveness in the second photo, and then a minute later, he was in love. I think he got over his hatred of water rather quick and enjoyed himself very much. He got such a kick out of us lifting him when the waves came.

When he got all tuckered out. We drove into Two Rivers to Neshotah Beach and had lunch at the concession stand there, let Cole take a nap in the cool shade, and then hung out for a tiny bit at the beach there just to check it out. Overall we had a wonderful day and I think Cole loved every minute.
