I had the opportunity this past week to create alongside some beautiful minds and talented individuals. This was the first styled shoot I’ve attended where numerous photographers and vendors worked together to make this day happen. Making new friends, putting names to faces I’ve been talking to online for months, drinking, snacking, and lots of laughs were had. Oh and lots of capturing fancy faces.

This styled shoot was lead by our fierce leader Shaunáe who does an incredible job of leading our group and Monthly Meetings. Tuesday’s Together is a group of creative entrepreneurs who gather together on the second Tuesday of every month in a new location around town. The group was developed as a Chapter of the Rising Tide Society which is now internationally known. The Rising Tide Society was created as a way for creative entrepreneurs to come together communicating, educating, and discussing topics to better each others businesses in the spirit of Community Over Competition. It’s a beautiful thing to watch so many likeminded people who in most cases would be rivals come together for the better. Rising above for the greater good.

During the day we each teamed up with another photographer and set out with a set of models. For the Wedding portion of the day, we met up with Katie & Duke, who are a very sweet and incredibly witty couple. Katie is an incredible watercolor illustration artist and created the table number seen below. Those dandies are perfection aren’t they…I am obsessed with art inspired by nature and overall Katie’s beautiful and organic manner and creations.

Throughout our time spent together we laughed, shared a little about ourselves together, and exchanged social media handles. I look forward to following both of these charming characters and growing a new friendship.
