This Holiday Season we headed to St. Louis to spend Christmas & New Years with the full Helgeson family. Troy’s parents Rich & Gloria, welcomed all the chaos that came with their four children, spouses, & five grandchildren into their home. Cole & his older cousin played a lot of Nintendo, we couldn’t get enough of our sweet nephew who is just 6 months old and the absolute most adorable little guy ever, and Grandma turned 90 on New Year’s Eve and had her first professional portraits she confessed when we stepped outside, just the two of us together. She gave me quite the giggle while chatting about her late husband and herself dancing at their only daughters Wedding over 40 years ago, and showing everyone up on the dance floor with their suave moves. Since posting this blog, Grandma passed away in March. In here own home as she would have wanted. She was a tough woman who was in charge of her church seniors group, still got outside in her garden and did her yard work.
