The day started with a cool breeze whisking across the countryside. It was a glorious beginning to Jennifer & Erik’s Hope Glen Farm Wedding. Just outside Minneapolis, Hope Glen Farm is an all-in-one incredible venue in Cottage Grove. Where guests were treated to a champagne pour as they made their way to the ceremony site. […]

Audry started off her wedding day getting ready with her sisters, bridal party members, and some adorable dachshund pups. We had beautiful weather for details, bridal portraits, and bridal party photos before heading to Whistler’s Knoll in Hortonville. The ceremony started in sync with a downpour however, Audry & Roger didn’t miss a beat. Unaffected […]

MEET the Helgesons

Halloween with the Helgeson’s. This year we dressed up as Cole’s favorite characters from The Miraculous Ladybug.

When I raise the shade to see a yard full of pines covered in a blanket of fluffy white snow my eyes light up just the same as when I were little. I come to life. I become the equal age to my child and we dart out the door. Usually forgetting boots and coat…to much excitement to remember things of such little importance. We have things to do.

All year Cole has had his eye on a Tigey the Adventure Tiger costume for Halloween. I have never heard of a kid this young having his sights so honed in on one costume and not once changed his mind throughout the full year.

What kind of Mom would I be if I didn’t make his little dreams come true?!

Cole’s Gigi & Poppy came to visit us and we spent some time picking out the best pumpkins and munching on some apples. Hillside Apple Farm has a great assortment of pumpkins and varieties of pumpkins to choose from. We found out Wisconsin pumpkins are much cheaper than Missouri ones. One pumpkin in Missouri cost the same as all 4 pumpkins we bought here. Win!!! After finding the most unique pumpkins we ventured to Point Beach and walked the shore finding gemstones and playing in the sand.

One warmer than usual June day a group of creative entrepreneurs and models gathered on The Millers Family farm in Whitelaw, Wisconsin to share their talents and come together for a Styled Shoot.

This stunning venue is AJ’s families farm. Her parents were sweet enough to allow The Rising Tide to have our styled shoot at their home and have use of their property.

Starting in September we set out to the Apple Orchard almost every weekend. We are both apple and fall crazed in our home. Cole eats at least 4 apples a day, so to keep up we have to visit as often as we can. The best flavored and most crisp apples are found at the […]
