The day started with a cool breeze whisking across the countryside. It was a glorious beginning to Jennifer & Erik’s Hope Glen Farm Wedding. Just outside Minneapolis, Hope Glen Farm is an all-in-one incredible venue in Cottage Grove. Where guests were treated to a champagne pour as they made their way to the ceremony site. Which is situated on the hillside along the quaint vineyard. A string quartet set the mood as the couple’s dog, Moses made his way up the aisle. And the adorable little pup stole everyone’s heart. Then, all at once, everyone’s gaze turned to Jennifer. Undeniably, gorgeous as she strolled across the bridge, and up through the doors at the end of the aisle.

Guests were delighted with the passing around of appetizers of Bruschetta & Steak Crostini. As they entered cocktail hour between the dinner & dance barns. Meanwhile, the string quartet carried the romantic mood through the cocktail hour. While guests enjoyed their appetizers around the fire pits and enjoyed their time mingling with fellow friends and family.

Dinner was plated with the staff knowing exactly which meal went to whom. By the clever placement of a symbol that represented each animal, from which the meat came. It was such a creative touch added to the seating cards. I’m sure Jennifer came up with it because as you can see, she is a creative genius. And she spared no details when it came to her wedding day. Indeed guests raved over the wonderful meals, drinks, and conversation among all the floral displays throughout the dining room. It was a stunning meal physically and taste-wise.

An evening full of dancing, laughter, happy tears, and enjoying drinks around the fire.

Later guests enjoyed Bananas Foster being made in front of them and a dessert bar filled with mini donuts, cookies, brownie bars, peanut butter bars, and shortbread bars as they entered the reception barn.

Lastly, a late-night snack of Domino’s Pizza topped off the night that was full of dancing, laughter, happy tears, and enjoying drinks around the fire. Then as we do, we photographed Jennifer & Erik’s epic last photo, gave hugs, congratulations, and departed to let the lovely newlyweds enjoy their party as the evening came to a close.
