Cole’s school photos in De Pere have taken me three years to pull off. I’ve been trying to find a cute and quick set up for photos for Cole since we started homeschooling 3 years ago. This year I finally had the perfect chance. We borrowed this antique school desk from Troy’s parents and set my Grandfathers globe on top. Bribed my child with a delicious Paula red apple from Hillside Apples. Added a set of books I had in my office and our letterboard from our school room. This past Sunday evening the light was soft and dreamy, I felt the need to take advantage of it. Cole hopped in these adorable Carhartt overalls and we scurried over to The Abbey Pond. Where we had the whole place to ourselves and the perfect background.
Homeschoolers need school photos too
Cole has never had traditional school photos taken, since he’s been homeschooled since the very beginning. I may have gone overboard. He was having such a great time and the apple only almost rolled away a few times. The mosquitos were mild, the sunset perfect. Leaving the lake a beautiful color of blue green. The apple gave him something to do and served as a reward in the end, which made his day. He has few teeth from loosing so many over the summer. However, just enough to crunch into that crisp apple. You can see his review of his experience and my work below. Make sure to read the review, it’s very sweet. He’s quite the funny kid. I’m lucky to be his Mama.

Cole’s 3rd Grade School Photos in De Pere
A sweet review from my 8 year old.
“It was really nice and cool by the water and the apple was really yummy. The pictures are really great and I had a fun time.”

Want to keep reading and seeing all the cute photos of my kid? Cole wore these cute overalls during Our Labor Day Getaway to Bayfield a few years ago. He was much smaller then and we had to roll the cuffs a few times, now he’s flooding those pants.
