Audry started off her wedding day getting ready with her sisters, bridal party members, and some adorable dachshund pups. We had beautiful weather for details, bridal portraits, and bridal party photos before heading to Whistler’s Knoll in Hortonville.

The ceremony started in sync with a downpour however, Audry & Roger didn’t miss a beat. Unaffected by the rain, the couple went on with their ceremony, sand unity, and an epic kiss with a dip! Not a single guest looked upset about the rain, they all had smiles from ear to ear. You could really tell how much Audry and Roger are loved. And the venue went on to tell them, they were the first couple to ever go through with the ceremony in the outdoor space despite the rain. Honestly, these two were so thrilled to be married that they hardly seemed to notice the rain at all.

Following the ceremony, guests moved into the cocktail hour space while we photographed family photos and “Just Married,” portraits. We had to dance with the rain a bit. Which is why I’m so glad we worked together on Audry & Roger’s timeline and we had the perfect amount of time to fit it all in. Adding time cushions anywhere and everywhere in your timeline helps a wedding day run smoothly in preparedness for circumstances as such.

Once Audry & Roger were introduced to the Reception, speeches were made, laughs were had, and dinner began. After dinner, a beautiful cake made by Audry’s sister was enjoyed as well as a few other desserts in the dessert barn. Following cake the newlywed’s had their first dance and showed off their moves. A pure and sweet Father/Daughter and Mother/Son dance ensued before all guests let loose on the dance floor. And did they ever, it was such an entertaining group who tore up the dance floor.
