MEET the Helgesons

Spending time with our family at Robert Allerton Estate in Monticello, Illinois

Sunken gardens, peonies, statues, a gazing pool, & much more around this tranquil estate. I snapped a few photos of our nephews and Cole playing throughout the gardens, a few of Troy’s Mother who the kids call Gigi with two of her Grandson’s, and a few of my Sister-In-Law Amy with her sweet family of four.

Over Memorial Day weekend we headed down to the sweet town of Monticello, Illinois to clean out Troy’s late Grandmothers home and visit with family. During our stay we played lots of hide n seek, got doused with squirt guns, rode trains, and strolled through our favorite place in town, the Robert Allerton Estate & Park. A gorgeous location for a Wedding, wink wink!! I’m so glad I opted to bring my camera along because these boys are too cute together and I’m so glad I got the chance to catch them in this stage of life together. Cole & our oldest nephew Logan are best buds and we don’t get to see them often enough since we live 8 hours apart but every time they’re reunited, it’s always good times!
