I was invited by my new friend Stacy Bengs Silverberg to photograph an elegant family focused Wedding at LedgeStone Vineyards in De Pere where we had a blast with the sweetest and most fun bridal party and where I became quick friends with several of the bridesmaids. This friend group was awesome and showed so much love to this gorgeous couple.
Erin started off the day with an emotional first look with her Dad, something I think any of us Daddy’s girls can appreciate whole heartedly! She then spent time with her Bridesmaids having a few photos and relaxed before having a first look with Andrew, one that was sweet and filled with kisses! They were then able to get most of their portraits out of the way and had the rest of the day to relax and have fun with their guests.
Erin’s Dad shed tears while walking her down the aisle to meet Andrew excitedly awaiting his Bride and although they had already had their first look, you can clearly see, there was just as much if not more emotion from Andrew when she arrived at the altar along side him. With a hug from Erin’s Dad their outdoor ceremony began, a wine unity was shared binding their families into one, and one of the most romantic kisses ever! These two have a beautiful relationship with each other and their families and it was an honor to witness.
While Erin & Andrew’s guests enjoyed charcuterie boards and wine during cocktail hour we snuck off and took a few more “just married,” photos. Their day felt so relaxed while they walked around the property with wine in hand and constant laughter between each other and their bridal party. Before you knew it, photos were done and they were off to join their guests at cocktail hour and to dance the night away!!
LedgeStone Vineyards is a beautiful venue to get married at if you’re looking for wedding with a relaxed vibe, simply elegant view, & end your evening dancing under the stars!
Sometimes I enjoy second shooting Weddings with fellow photographers and leaving Troy at home. It’s a way to stay creative and keep looking at different angles, ones where I can focus more on the couple, creativity, & documenting rather than guiding and making sure I get those “must have” shots. There’s a much higher level of responsibility you have as a lead photographer and sometimes it nice to have a day off. It also gives me an appreciation for Troy “please 🙏🏼 don’t tell him I told you!!” While I try to always continue staying fresh with my creative flow, as the lead photographer I’m sometimes just more focused on getting “the kiss,” “the dip,” “the first dance epic shot!” Meanwhile, Troy gets to walk around a bit more, keeping his eyes and ears open for tears, laughter, and wide creative scenery shots! Man, I sound jealous don’t I? I am, sometimes but I would never trade my position with him ever. I love being his boss. Hahaha!
All kidding aside, it’s my passion to guide couples through their Engagement & Wedding Day. Continuously learning and recharging with like minded photographers is one of the ways our creativity and skills are elevated. Which elevates your experience with us as well! We are here always growing in our craft for you!
