One warmer-than-usual June day a group of creative entrepreneurs called The Rising Tide Society, and models gathered on The Millers Family farm in Whitelaw, Wisconsin. To collectively share their talents and come together for a Styled Session. We took time to photograph several scenarios such as this boho country look with Model Cassandra below. Many of us met for the first time, drinking wine and laughing together.

Let me tell you a little secret. I am terrified of being in groups. Like, as loud and obnoxious as I am, the second you throw me into a social situation I’m as quiet as a mouse and as awkward as well whatever the most awkward thing you can think of is. So when I saw my new friend Cassandra was one of our models for the day I was so relieved to be working with someone I felt comfortable with.

We headed over to the cactus garden where the colors complimented her boho outfit from Zulou perfectly. She showed off her bare feet and luckily only received a few cactus splinters during the whole time we shot in there. Our time together was short but it’s always an adventure and so much fun with this friend of mine. She has a way about her that makes everyone feel so loved.
